March Craft Calendar for Folksy

Hello March!

Spring has arrived and not a moment too soon for my liking!

I adore spring, it's all ahead of us - the beautiful blooms, the sound of birds returning to gardens, the promise of summer, the smell of freshly cut grass, blossom falling like confetti - it's all good!

Imagine my delight when I was asked by the lovely folk at Folksy to create the image to go on their March craft calendar, which is available as a free download from their blog!  All I can say is I 'sprung' into action that day and was in my element playing with pretty spring flowers and birds...

These craft calendars are mighty handy.  I downloaded last month's one, designed by Christ Hagan and found it an extremely useful and beautiful prompt to see me through the month...and all for free, what's not to love about that ?! thank you Folksy!

My Design for March is made up of a combination of designs -  mainly the two pictured here.  'Hello Mum' which is available as a card and illustration print, and also features as the image for March on my 2016 calendar (above).  'Little Jenny Wrens' (below) is available as an illustration print and also features in my 2016 desktop calendar.

With it being Mother's Day this weekend, I just want to mention that my cut off for mother's day orders is this Thursday 3rd March, any orders placed after Thursday I can not guarantee they will arrive in time for Mother's Day.

Celebrating 5 Years Giveaway- NOW CLOSED - WINNER Announced...

Hello!

My giveaway is now closed and all the names have been gathered and added to a spreadsheet... 

Which I then pasted the names into a random name picker tool, as you can see below...

Then I opted for the fruit machine name picker because it does a happy cheer when it picks the winners name (little things like that make me happy!).

4000 Facebook Likes Giveaway Winner Announced!...

Thank you to everyone who took part in my sunny giveaway to celebrate reaching 4000 facebook likes.

As promised, at 9pm this evening the giveaway closed, I gathered all the names (there were around 200 of them, I've been steadily gathering them all week if truth be told).

Each of the names were entered on a spreadsheet so that I could paste the list into a random name picker application...

Giveaway Time - 4000 Facebook Likes

WOWeeee!!!!

I've just checked over on my facebook page to see that my page has reached over 4,000 likes.  

I'm so, so happy, that has made my day!!

Which means it's time for a bright and sunny giveaway!!

It's all thanks to every lovely follower...and a special thanks has to go to all the fantastic people who helped share and shout out my page yesterday to ensure the milestone was reached and I could launch this giveaway to share my joy with you all.

My blog will be 4 years old in a few days time (I'll mark that in some way on a separate blog post).  Followers of this blog will know that the blog launch was really the beginning of my Artwork by Angie journey.  A couple of months after launching the blog I launched the facebook page - so it seems very fitting that around the 4th anniversary of my little business that I can celebrate with you all by having a 4,000 likes giveaway!!...

Mother's Day Giveaway!

It's been such a long time since I did any sort of giveaway here on my blog and facebook and twitter.  The lovely weather at the weekend has put me in a giveaway frame of mind.

Last month I ran a giveaway for my newsletter subscribers.  If you follow my newsletter, please check through your messages as I did announce the winner last week on my newsletter - but they've not contacted me yet to claim their prize.  You never know, it could be you I'm waiting to hear from!

Happy Friday - I'm very pleased to announce that it's Giveaway time here on my blog!

My facebook page has reached 3,000 likes today!!!

As a massive THANK YOU for all the

and most of all the support and kindness you've shown me over the past couple of years with my little business, I'm offering up a giveaway prize of 

one of each of my 20 designs for this summer's new range of cards 'Living The Dream'.... 

...here they all are, all 20 of them.  All printed on FSC card with vegetable based inks, blank inside and have a slightly embossed finish to pick out some of the details in each illustration...

2,000 Facebook Likes Give Away - We Have A Winner!

WOW, WOW, WOW!!!...I've just been over to facebook to collate all the names of the people that helped promote my give away here with likes and shares.  THANK YOU to every one of you that did that as you are now all in with a chance of winning my 'Lucky Stars' print as featured above ...never mind 'give away' - I'm absolutely blown away by your response!!! :)

I initially posted that pic up on  facebook on Thursday when I was on 1,800 likes, just to casually mention that I'd give this framed print away once I  'eventually' reached 2,000 likes thinking it would be ages away because it took months and months to get 1,000 likes...it's now Saturday evening and my page seems to have reached over 2,130 likes already...and I have been busy entering well over 300 names onto a list to add to the random selector app to pick the winner....

...as I saw the response growing I decided yesterday that not only would I also throw in a 3 pack of postcards for the lucky winner (which they can choose from a combination of any 3 of the postcard designs featured here)....but I'd also offer a set of 3 postcards to a  lucky runner up too.... 

...These postcards fit 6x4 frames and really pack a punch of colour when popped in a white triple frame together in the combinations you see here.

Anyway, I'm waffling, I reckon you just want to know who the lucky so and so is that's going to get their mitts on that framed print, so here we go...

...Loads and loads of names typed into an excel spreadsheet by yours truly (I'm a bit of nerd like that so bear with me!).  Names were then copy and pasted straight from that sheet in to handy random name selector over on http://www.classtools.net/education-games-php/fruit_machine (great fun, fruit machine with sound effects - very useful for giveaways like these if you ever run one!)...

So here you go...the fruit machine landed on MICHELLE MOORE as the winner!!! and....

...then it landed on VICTORIA CONNOLLY as the runner up!!...

YAY!!! - Congratulations ladies!
