Ta Da! - All these designs are off to Spring Fair International

For the past few months I've been chipping away at a rather large list of designs required for The Heart of a Garden's stand at Spring Fair International.  This list arrived with the title "Your challenge should you choose to accept it!".  Well, I must admit I do thrive on a good challenge and was whole heatedly up for the task.

This past week I sent over some the last remaining items on that list which happened to be additional Christmas card designs.  The timing to do those couldn't have been more perfect as thanks to all the recent snowy weather I found myself in completely the right mood to do them.

I know I've shown quite a number of the new designs on here before, but I thought it would be nice to show the complete collection that will be heading up the M5 towards Birmingham's NEC at the end of this week.

So here goes.  First up 20 card designs for the 'Living The Dream' range which is all about escaping to the coast, country and riverside to enjoy life's pleasures in the great outdoors...

...Next there are 13 designs in my new 'Love and Best Wishes' special occasions range.  I have plans to expand this range a bit further before this year is done...

...Last but not least.  12 Christmas card designs and 3 gift wrap designs in my
'Tis The Season Range'.  6 of these designs are hot off my desk and will be available later this year
as 5x7 cards....

So there they all are and looking at them all together like that makes me realise just how much work I've managed to produce lately.  It feels so good to have met that challenge and I'm really looking forward to seeing all the designs as finished greeting cards and display panels at Spring Fair International.

Have a great week!

Love is in the Air ...

Love is in the air over on my website, Folksy and Etsy shops today because I've listed and am showcasing all my cards and illustration prints for Valentine's Day with the thanks to some lovely new photos from the dynamic duo at Kate & Alex Photography...

See those lovely blue skies above - this images were taken earlier this month here in Somerset just before the snow arrived.  The image above looks like a summers day, but really it was an absolutely freezing cold day...

This time last year I came up with my 'Owl Always Love You' illustration.  The design was completed just a little too late to be printed and ready for Valentine Cards last year.  This year it's a different story as there are now 3 of my popular 'love' illustrations printed onto 15cm x15cm FSC 280gsm card with a smooth silk finish - the printed colours have come out very vibrant and fresh.  All 3 cards are now listed on my website, Folksy and Etsy shops...

...and if your lover isn't into hearts and flowers, you'll also find there are some alternative card designs listed which may be more their style...

...with all this cold weather we're having at the moment I hope you are all cuddling up to someone special to keep warm and cosy!

Best wishes

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Everyone.
I hope 2013 will be a happy, healthy and lucky year for all.

It's back to business here after a little bit of a break over Christmas.  To kick the year off in good spirit I've re-opened my website shop with a bit of a January sale.  I'm offering between 25% and 40% off lots and lots of greetings cards and note cards throughout January.
To grab those bargains and stock up on cards, please visit: www.artworkbyangie.com

Hopefully this January sale will help make a little bit of space for all the new designs I have coming very soon.  Over the Christmas break I added a few 'occasions' card designs to my collection.

Here are some of those designs which are all set to be printed up and on display at the NEC's Spring Fair International at the beginning of February...

I've also added a couple more London themed cards to the Living The Dream range I designed back in the summer as my big collection for 2013. There are now 20 'Living The Dream' designs all of which are now available for trade orders over on The Heart of a Garden's website here: http://www.theheartofagarden.com/greetingscards/living-the-dream.htm

All of the designs above and more will be on show on The Heart of a Garden's stand 4D31 at Spring Fair International, NEC from Feb 3-7th.

My train ticket is now booked and I'm all set to go and have a nosey around Spring Fair again.  I'm getting quite excited about it as it's a great place to get all inspired with ideas for new designs as well as a great chance to preview everything that will hit the shops throughout 2013.
Expect a Spring Fair show and tell on here in February!

One last thing before I sign off today.
Just before Christmas Little A Designs posted an interview I did for their blog.

Each Saturday, Little A Designs regularly posts an interview with an artist or designer maker over on their blog.   The interviews share helpful business tips, reveals a bit about the artist's background and what inspires them.  I feel very honoured to have been asked as I'm among extremely good company when you read other artist interviews (which I highly recommend doing).
Here's the link to the interview with me:

Best Wishes
